About Us
Skedaddle is an emerging collective of physical performers on a mission to awaken their audience’s inner child.
Our Mission:
Inspired by the likes of Charlie Chaplin, Mr Bean and Tom and Jerry, we combine mime, narrative and physical comedy to tell stories about what it is to be a person in this absurd and delightful world.
Skedaddle Theatre is a young company born out of the Physical Theatre course at East 15 Acting school, a Lecoq-based training where we discovered our loves for physical comedy and began making work together.
Meet the Team
-
Samuel Cunningham
Sam has recently finished an international tour in Shanghai with Lyngo Theatre Company. He is excited by how puppetry and the human body can be used to convey abstract storytelling. He is inspired by the classic work of Buster Keaton and how this type of work can be reimagined in today’s theatre and film industry.
Sam is the head of marketing for the company as well as being puppetry director and the sole puppet maker for 'A Brief Case Of Crazy'.
-
Lennie Longworth
Lennie has recently finished touring the UK with award winning company Flabbergast Theatre playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. She is endlessly curious about people’s stories, why they are the way they are and how that can be translated through physicality, voice and narrative.

Rowan Armitt-Brewster
Rowan Armitt-Brewster is the director, scriptwriter and producer of Skedaddle’s ‘A Brief Case of Crazy’. Hugely inspired by Charlie Chaplin and Rowan Atkinson, Rowan has limitless fascination for making an audience laugh and being deeply moved through physicality, character and story. Rowan has recently finished touring two productions ‘The Three Musketeers’ and ‘Smashed’, and is now turning his focus to his original production of ‘A Brief Case of Crazy’.
